About
Students for Freedom is a UK-wide coalition of liberty-minded individuals that share their principles and seek to establish a broad-based movement towards their realisation in the political process and society at large.
We are principled
We stand for freedom above everything else, and hold our principles dear. We stand for the defence of civil liberties, the promotion of free market capitalism, the objective of world peace, and the principles of small, efficient, and democratically-accountable government.
We are non-partisan
We are independent of all political parties, but engage with members and representatives of them, and those that belong to none, to encourage them to follow our lead and dedicate themselves to the cause of liberty.
We are students
We are an organisation of students that’s run by students for studnets. We are not beholden to external interests. We think that students are patronised by the governing class. We are the future, and we’re not to be ignored.
We are diverse
We are a broad-based classical liberal organisation, including self-described liberals and conservatives, libertarians and anarchists, human rights campaigners and tax hawks. We are united in our desire for freedom.
We are nation-wide
We are a movement covering the whole country. There are pro-liberty groups at a number of universities. Together, we are stronger and harder for the enemies of liberty to ignore.
We are local
We tailor our approach to each university. We engage in our local community and arrange meetings at every uni we’re organised in. Our agenda is one of localism: moving politics closer to the people.
